“Our goal at Bills & Gills Guide Services is to give each and every one of
our clients a unique experience in the outdoor sporting world.”
– Captain Jim Klein
It can’t be stated enough how walleye fishing is a passion for Bills and Gills. And why not? Look at all the walleye fishing destinations. You have the Bay of Green Bay, Lake Winnebago, Lake Poygen, or Wolf River to choose from. And the best part of this? Captain Jim not only knows where but how to catch these large-eyed beauties.
There are many techniques that go into hunting the slippery, subtle walleye. Good thing you have Captain Jim to lead you on this merry adventure. He will educate you, (depending on time of year and fishing location), and even show you the best methods to use. It might be drifting, toiling, or casting, just some of the techniques he has in his bag of tricks.
Bills and Gills use a 24-foot custom build SeaArk with state-of-the-art technology for Walleye fishing. It will comfortably hold up to 4 people. Season begins when the ice goes out until the end of June.
You can expect walleye to range between 15-32 inches and anywhere from one to 12.5 pounds. That said, you have an excellent chance to catch a trophy walleye especially the Green Bay area. It should also be noted that white bass are very probably going to be part of the fishing excursion. It’s all good, as they are a tasty meal in and of themselves.
In conclusion, you will want to be with Captain Jim when looking for walleye. He has the best fishing spots and techniques around. All he asks of you is that you have a current fishing license and that you bring a paper copy when you get on board. The rest, as it can be said, is to kick back and enjoy the trip.
